Pumpkin Bread

1 C. sugar
1 ¼ C. brown sugar
3 eggs
2 C. canned pumpkin
⅔ C. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
3 ½ C. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. cloves
¾ tsp. nutmeg
⅛ tsp. ginger
1 C. chocolate chips

Mix sugars, eggs, pumpkin, shortening, and vanilla.  Add remaining ingredients, mix well.  Pour into two greased bread pans.  Bake at 325º for 60-70 min.
